Some months ago, I spent some time looking at BeOS -- I'm always looking
for good ideas, and Jean-Louis and his team at Be have quite a few -- so
I thought I might have some useful information for this thread. In the
interest of technical accuracy, I felt that I should review my notes
before preparing a post, but Denys Beauchemin has set my mind at ease:
