Fellow list users who care (good or bad) about HPUX:
On the side topic of HPUX 10 support, release 10.10 (or was it 10.01? -
it is getting almost as bad as 5 pull and 5 push), does add support
for most [not all] older 8xx boxes. Someone on the list complained about the
lack of such support. For details and limitations, see document
UNX1001002 on supportline (http://support.mayfield.hp.com).
On the other hand, if it were me, I would be embarrased to release the JFS
for HPUX that finally starts to provide MPE reliability and recoverablity for
the file system when it does not support ACLs, and thus, cannot be used by
HPUX 10 configured as a trusted system!
Cheers,
Richard
