you could restore into another group.
:NEWGROUP MINE
:CHGROUP MINE
:FILE T;DEV=TAPE
:RESTORE *T;STORECAT.PUB.SYS;SHOW;LOCAL

Then you would have STORECAT.MINE.SYS
you can proceed to move/rename into PUB

I build the storecat.pub.sys and the restore is ok. I didn't get any 
messages. Now, I tried to restore the original storecat and I can't because 
is always open. How can I restore it or purge it?
