So, how about the new HP Way.
Fraternize with the paid help. Falsify your expense report so the company doesn't know you fraternize with the help. Resign. Collect $40M severance pay. Maybe run for office.
Yup. Sounds like a dream job to me.
With a kind eye toward Mr. Hurd, maybe a piece of dust flew into his eye. He winked, she thought it was sexual harrassment, and the rest is history.
So, I guess, somewhere between that involuntary wink and a "Bill Clinton" lies the truth of the matter. But then again "truth" is pretty nebulous concept in today's world.
And, this morning I read that HP needs a "charasmatic leader ... to deliver a compelling vision ..." (Information Week Online) I think if I were Bill or Dave (or an HP stockholder) I'd be satified with somebody to just run the company.
It's a dream job. Any takers?
Bruce.
