Truer words have not been spoken. Indeed, the interview to which Michael
refers occurred in early November, of 1999, ONE YEAR BEFORE the election,
almost 3 years (33 months) ago. The countries in the quiz were Taiwan,
Pakistan, India and Chechnya. I only knew the name of the president of
Pakistan and could probably not spell it properly. I did not even know the
names of the prime minister of India, the president of Taiwan and the
president of Chechnya until I checked Google.

As Tracy points out, 12 months of daily intelligence briefing could educate
a brick. However, no amount of briefing can give a leader character and a
moral compass. That is something you possess on your own. This was sadly
lacking in the prior administration but is definitely present in this one.

Oh, and for the Florida election thing, it is interesting to note that once
again, it is only the Democrat voters who had a problem with the voting. I
think it's too bad that Reno lost; it would have been interesting to see how
she would have answered some of the questions she would have had to face.
It's even more interesting to note that her erstwhile boss campaigned for
her now-victorious opponent. (Maybe he didn't want certain questions to be
asked of gubernatorial candidate.)

If you starting watching him 15 months ago then by
using typical 30-day months and MPEXs "TODAY"
variable I calculate that you probably just
started watching him starting say ... June 2001. *

%calc today-15*30
01/06/24

Therefore, you couldn't possibly have remembered
what he said 'shortly' after the election six
months before... 8-)

(Unless you're using Atmarian months, then all
bets are off. By the way, has any added an
Atmarian date variable to MPEX yet?)

Oddly, the last comment I heard on a network news
program regarding his "world knowledge" gave him
high marks as opposed to his domestic policy.

(Although I suppose 12 months of daily
intelligence briefings could educate a
brick in foreign issues.)
