From a 939/020 it is! Not just CPU [even at the anemic 110 Mhz ... I
understand some can be faster :) ] but mem bandwidth, and moving from
a FWSCSI Mod 20 to a FC VA will be a huge jump too.

Just remember, the fibre drivers require CPU.  So crippling the CPU also cripples the I/O.  Big time.
