Thanks for your kind words about my piece in the 3000 Newswire.

Regarding your ideas about uses for a 4-user production platform.   The idea of
a 4-user platform is to take advantage of
user-based pricing to make the systems more attractive to small users.  An
issue I didn't address in my article is that
Client/Server technologies, as you point out, effectively bypass the user
count.    This seems to be a good reason for HP to NOT
offer a 4-user license.    The key question in my mind is how this is a win for
HP?
