As I said in my original posting, I sent my letter of complaint to a number
of HP executives.

At midnight PDT, I received a personal reply from Ann Livermore who
expressed surprise as to why HP would ask to have the press excluded from an
event and concluded with:

"I will check with the organizers of the HP participation in the event and
have someone get back to you."

Looks like the wrong female executive was appointed CEO in 1999.
