Hi Tracy :)
Check the archives for posts from me about this back when I was at
Denkor (2000-2003).... since we all know about my memory! hehehe

But... I recall that optimized means "mirrored" and flow-down... ie...
the 512 mb is carrier 0 needs to match 512 mb in carrier 1 where currently
you have a 128 mb...

I remember doing a crash course on memory carriers and configuratioins
and side effects when we upgraded our 979's memory ourselves... which
worked great :)

My laptop keyboard has one of those mouse pads that when your thumbs get
too close to it something happens in combination with other keys. Hence
the imcomplete first post. Complete post follows:

In a 9x9 with two memory carriers I have:

0 0ab 512MB
0 1ab 256MB
0 2ab 256MB
0 3ab 256MB
0 4ab 256MB
0 5ab 256MB
0 6ab 128MB
0 7ab 128MB
1 0ab 128MB
1 1ab 128MB
1 2ab 128MB
1 3ab 128MB
1 4ab 128MB
1 5ab 128MB
1 6ab 128MB
1 7ab 128MB

I get the Warning that memory configuration is not "optimized" and to
"RTFM" and fix it.

Without Reading TFM my guess is that it wants to the memory to flow down
back and forth between the two carriers like thus:

0 0ab 512MB
0 1ab 256MB
0 2ab 256MB
0 3ab 128MB
0 4ab 128MB
0 5ab 128MB
0 6ab 128MB
0 7ab 128MB
1 0ab 256MB
1 1ab 256MB
1 2ab 256MB
1 3ab 128MB
1 4ab 128MB
1 5ab 128MB
1 6ab 128MB
1 7ab 128MB

Am I correct in my assumption?
