The only "gotcha" was the one I've already mentioned. Due to the truncate
function not being implemented it caused several modules to not work.

Other than that, absolutely no problems have been seen. I initially
installed
Calcium on MPE/iX 5.5.7 w/Apache 1.2.5 w/perl 5.5003 and have since gone to
MPE/iX 6.0.2 w/Apache 1.3.4 w/perl 5.6.0.

I should mention a minor problem with the email reminders feature if you
decided
to buy that for an extra $99, doesn't work as advertised. In the software
you
would start the reminder process from an administrator screen and set the
pause
interval. It launches the reminder process ok but fails when it tries to
"fork".
The workaround is to create a job that loops between executing the reminder
script
and pausing x number of seconds.

I wouldn't be surprised if the developer (Fred Steinberg) has already rolled
the truncate fix into the package since there is more than one OS that
doesn't support
truncate. At any case, I would mention you needed the "MPE Friendly"
version.

Thanks Guy,

I visited the website and one of the installed sites. Looks useful. Any
gotchas from your experience ? Has the bug fix been rolled into the
download or do I have to request it ?
