Before we get started, let me appologize for being a little behind on my
network skills.   The following info came from our in house experts who
were gracious enough to give me a brief overview of what this stuff is.


Yes the PING works fine .....  HP3000 is Alive

We are running MPE/ix 5.5

Our network server is a LAN Workgroup BOOTP server V4.12
which will soon be upgraded to 5.0.  We're running Novell Netware 4.10

The HP3000 is connected via TCP/IP
