Hi Ron :)
    Denys and Gilles gave the correct answer... but I wanted to add that
there should be a SOP within the data center SOP for regularly creating
SLT's so that no 'undocumented' changes are lost if emergence recovery is
implemented.


   Ok, side note question: Anyone have a reference for the definitive
definition of what words SOP really represents?  Standing or Standard
Operating Procedure?

No.  The boot path information is not part of the OS per se, it is in
stable storage on the machine itself.

When one changes the alternate boot path, should you create a new cslt
tape?
The version of OS that I am running is MPE/iX 6.0.
