Tom,

Telamon has the Asynchronous Network Engine
(http://www.telamon.com/products/ane/index.php) that is used as an
alternative to remote job entry (RJE) on IBM mainframes. This product is
extensively used by the Ecometry application for credit card process, via
Paymentech, which is an IBM shop.

Thanx,
        Jon

Telamon used to have a bisync solution called the Telamon Synchronous
Network Engine, which was an alternative to RJE. However, it does not show
up on their website, so maybe they dropped it.

I have installed it in a number of locations. It worked very well, and was
much less expensive than HP's RJE.
