Wesley,

Though it isn't exactly what you're looking for, I use the following code for that sort of functionality:

:INPUT DUMMY;PROMPT="Press ENTER to continue..."
:DELETEVAR DUMMY

I don't know how to get it to respond after pressing "any key", however.

HTH,

How do I set up "press any key to continue" in a command file? In the menu that
most of our users log on to, we use ?press any key to continue? after they
have entered a printer number, report name, etc. to give them options for using
different output devices. It then returns them to their menu to continue with
other options. I want to send a message to the users, but I want them to read it
first. Which means I want to force them to hit a key in order to get them back
to their menu, or prompt, etc. Of course we all heard the old saying, "but I
didn't see any message"... (use your best whiny voice). TIA
