Yes, very familiar if you're trying to do inbound e-mail with Sendmail/iX. See

I lack the bixby.org time to fix this problem in Sendmail/iX. An alternative
way to fix this would be to submit an enhancement request to HP asking for all
of the fields in /usr/include/pwd.h after "the following fields are
uninitialized until further notice" to be initialized with NULL for the
pointers and zero for the integers. The POSIX functions getpwnam() and
getpwuid() would need to be enhanced to supply these default values. Such an
enhancement would be very consistent with other "porting enabling" work the lab
has done in the past and continues to do in the future.
But enhancement requests submitted by real life customers mean more than
internal enhancement requests submitted by CSY engineers. The HPRC is waiting
to take your call. ;-)
If somebody does file this enhancement request, please let me know what the SR
number is so I can mention it on my Sendmail/iX web page.
