define 'shorter tape life"......
one month ? one year ? one week ?
How do you know it no longer is a 'working' tape ? restores fail ? stores
fail ?
the rumor I hear is that they can be dropped and damaged a lot easier than
the others....
inquiring minds want to know ....

Subject: [HP3000-L] DLT Cartridges
Fellow Listers:
I would like to hear peoples' comments/experiences with DLT tape cartridges.
Are there any brands with which you are particularly happy or unhappy? We
seem to be experiencing much shorter tape life than the published
expectancy, and I wonder if we are using the wrong supplier.
Thanks.
