If you are planning on trying before buying, which I believe QEdit and
WhisperTech offer, also try PSG's Facade CoEditor. Because we develop on the
LAN, and manage version control on the LAN, we like that it keeps files
there as well as on the 3000. This has also helped as kind of a backup copy
when someone manages to delete the wrong file, as well as allowing you to
cheat by accessing one copy when the other is being backed up and you're
still at work (that's a calculated risk in more than one sense). I also like
that it uses a listener to pass changes, rather than uploading and
downloading the entire file, which helps for dial in connections. However, I
don't believe that it handles bytestream files or HFS namespace at this
time, if that is an issue for you.

Just a satisfied customer. insert std disclaimers.
