Terry,
HP will cease to sell HP3000 parts either October or December
2003.   Most of the parts on the 3000 are the same as the
9000.

There will be plenty of resellers that will buy up HP's
overstock and refurbish parts for the 3000s.   A large number
of us know of companies still running on HP3000 hardware that
is no longer manufactured (but the parts can be found easily).

If you are concerned about this, you may want to consider
stocking up on a couple spares of Systems boards and drives.
