I am trying to use the 'setLvar' command within MPEX and it works fine, for
most issues.

If I say:  setlvar cntr 0

and then say:  While setlvar(cntr,cntr+1) < 100

I get an error:
Variable name not found in variable table. (CIWARN 8101)
Unexpected character found in number. (CIERR 9810)

Why doesn't the While command work with the setLvar command?
