A friend of mine reported the following:


"A user of ASK/MANMAN complained that she suddenly could no longer run her
reports. We traced the problem back to the dispatcher program, which was
getting a bad CC on the CREATEPROCESS intrinsic. The program and all
relevent groups and accounts had PH, the user did not. No other users were
affected. Adding PH, AM, etc to the user had no effect. On a pure hunch, we
purged, then re-created the user, and the problem went away! Questions: Is
there a reasonable explanation? Did we overlook something? Could this be
indicative of other problems? Any proactive remedies? Thakns in advance for
your wise counsel!"
