I also copied the code into another program, compiled and ran without
problems. Not having access to the whole infastructure that the original
program used, I cant confirm exactly what they thought it should do, and
if it does.
However as to its reasonableness, I have always found it difficult
having meaningful discussions with programs :-)
PS. If someone hasn't sorted access to an HP3000 for you by the time
