Friday, I call the RC about Easytime. It works over a DTC but will
not run over NS/VT. The engineer called me back at 4:30 AM to tell me
to change the scan rate of the screen to 72Mhz. I finally told them
they didn't know what the h*** he was talking about. He couldn't even
figure out that I wasn't using a terminal from the fact I was using
NS/VT or that the scan rate of the screen has no effect on the
communications to the HP. I'll bet he gets paid more than I do.
The last five calls I made to the response center have been answered
with wrong information and "not supported". I even called to tell
them how to fix a problem between Win95 and Resource Sharing and got
the response "we do not support that and are not interested". As of
right now, we are reviewing the need for a service which is so
expensive and offers no service.
Someone tell me it ain't so!
