One more thought on this subject. Image database root files all have a
unique filecode value, -400. Image datasets all have a value of -401.
So if you want to find all IMAGE databases on a M.P.E. system I would
rather use the following command:

LISTFILE @[log in to unmask]@;SELEQ=[CODE=-400];FORMAT=6

Explanation:
What you have settled for by using "listf @[log in to unmask]@" is the first dataset
in the database, but also any file where the filename ends with "01",
and that may/mayn't be a database file. Also; the M.P.E. file system
allows filecode representation to be alpha ("PRIV") and Numeric. When
you see "PRIV" as a filecode it simply means that the numeric value of
the filecode is negative, and again this can include non database file
types.

Thanks very much for everyone's help. I managed to
track down the database and the account associated
with it.

As per the suggestions, I ended up using: listf @[log in to unmask]@,2
to get a list of possible database files (working under the
understanding the all databases had an associated DBNAME01
file).

I thank you and my boss thanks you.
