Barton~Cotton, Inc. has immediate need for a HP3000 COBOL programmer/analyst
for permanent hire in Baltimore, MD.  Specifically, we are looking for
programmers with 3+ years experience to:

7 Design, Develop, Maintain, and Implement software solutions using COBOL
7 Database maintenance as required
7 Data extracts and ad-hoc reporting
7 Provide support for our order processing system

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

7 Ability to work with minimal supervision
7 Hewlett-Packard 3000 series computers (preferably MPE/iX)
7 COBOL II, TurboImage, VPlus/3000
7 SUPRTOOL (preferred, but not required)
7 Good communication skills
7 Ability to manage multiple assignment simultaneously

This is not a Y2K programming position.  We will offer the right candidate the
ability to learn client/server technology currently in use in our organization.
