SHOWVAR wants a variable name as a parameter, or a wildcard character,
but it doesn't like a the string of numbers that you gave it. The first
character must be an ALPHA character. If you just want to display the
FINFO result, or any function results, then use the ECHO command.

Hi all,
I'm trying to do what started out as a simple CI script, but
I've
run into an error in a piece of the script that I can't explain. I've
included the excerpt that generates the CI error (8103), and funny
thing is,
the command gives me a correct answer, but also an error...?
As always, any/all help is greatly appreciated.
:SHOWVAR ![FINFO("RS983S01","INTCREATED")]
SHOWVAR 20030414
^
Invalid character in variable name. (CIWARN 8103)
