All,

I decided to go with just a plain old install. I was unsure about the health of the tape drive but it seems to be working and I created a boot tape and backup.

I'm attempting to install to a device called SCSI2SD V6 and run the 3000 off of an SD card. So far, a few glitches. I'm in discussion with the developer and working through issues. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Subject: Disk Copy

Hello List,

I have a 917lx on Mpe 5.5 and I want to copy one disk to a new disk on the SCSI bus. Is there an offline diagnostic that I could actually use (not password protected) to do this. I want to copy the system volume sets so using VOLUTIL is not an option. And at this point how does one get the diagnostics passwords?

My other choice is to attach the disks to a PC and copy there.
