i don't think the issue is whether or not you can give a pre-set amount, but
rather if you're willing at all....

i think these are very good questions.  so far we've had some verbal commitments
to contributing money but.....  we need some one (a vendor??) to step up and say
we'll be the collecting the money and it's all fully accountable.            - d
