Thanks for the correction. After my previous posting, I remembered Table
3-3 in the TurboIMAGE manual. Sure enough, COBOL II and Pascal (and RPG,
if that matters ;-) support 8-byte integers corresponding to IMAGE data
types I4 and J4. C and FORTRAN do not.
 
Dare we suggest to Randy and the Roseville gang that we need a 64-bit
"long" in C/iX?
