Can somebody fill me in? JD Edwards was purchased by Peoplesoft, and  
Peoplesoft was overtaken in a horrible and hostile manner quite a while back.  Last I 
heard, the Peoplesoft modules were not even close to being integrated  with 
Oracle. And last I heard, Oracle isn't selling either of these acquired's  
products to new sites, as it is their custom to compete by buying the competitor  
and just killing it.
 
Other than that, I heard many many good reviews of PeopleSoft, and more  good 
than bad for JD Edwards, but that was 2-5+ years ago. Unfortunately, the  
good guys didn't win (again.)
