Are Posix daemons:
The same/similar/completely unrelated to an MPE background job?

We use Maestro from Unison.  Can it monitor Posix daemons or will I need
to build a shell script to monitor?

http://www.unison.com is not currently responding.  Have they been sold,
or is it just me/now.
