Hi All -
As one of the presenters at this years Solution Symposium,
I was hoping to get some input/feedback regarding the material
I will be covering. I am scheduled to talk about Telnet, FTP and
Inetd. I could probably spend about 8 hours total talking about
these components, but unfortunately, I only have a 1 hour block
of time plus a 1/2 hour block for demos/labs. So, I'll throw
this out to all of you...As I start preparing for this session
are there specific areas of interest that you feel I should cover?
My plan had been to start with INETD and then fork off into FTP
and Telnet...kind of the way it really works ;-). From reading
the info I've seen on the symposium, it appears the talks should
be geared as a training session to help users understand and
apply these products to their real world environments. If I
follow these guidelines, I probably won't have a lot of time to
go into the gory details of the architectures for these products...
maybe that wouldn't be appropriate anyway, but I didn't want
anybody to be disappointed.
So, what are your thoughts? Let me know and if you have any
specific questions, maybe I can do some prework that will allow
me to provide the answers to you in a timely fashion.

Thanx and cheers,

Jeff
