Edwards may have a challenge trying to gain his seat back a Rep. Just
took it over at it will be 6 years before he can take it away from him.

Now on to 2008...

GOP John McCain for Prez with Rudy Giuliani as VP for an attempt to
take N.Y.

DEM Hillary for Prez for a landslide victory for the GOP.

Hi Jay :)
I have to agree, I don't like Kerry, I am glad that the elections
turned out the way they did ... But I feel that Kerry did show that he
values the country (and his party) and wants what is best for both!

I was impressed that Kerry conceded when the math said to. He did
not concede to early when the math said it is possible (that would have
made him a quitter, IMNSHO) but did only when the numbers said it was
time.
This shows that he is doing what is right... fight as long as it is
winable... then do what is best for the country. We didn't need and
neither did the economy or the world another wait till Christmas to know
who will be President come 20 January or so...

Anyone heard if this changes Edwards plans for seeking reelection to
the Senate? What will this do to Kerry's re-election plans?

Sorry, Brice, but I can't agree. My opinion of him went up because he
saw he wasn't going to win, and rather than draw it out, he conceded -
perhaps not as gracefully as we would have liked, but a damned long ways
better than we were expecting.

We need healing after this campaign season, and Kerry's concession may
well be the spark we need.
