The answer (which you won't like) is the console sequence ctrl-A SHUTDOWN
followed by ctrl-B RS [or TC] (i.e., reboot your machine) -- it sounds like
you've encountered a DEADLOCK.  Does this process CURRENTLY hold other
resources "locked"?  [including FLOCKS on normal MPE or KSAM files, or locks
against datasets in a different database?]  If so, whatever "locks" you've
acquired are probably holding up the process that currently holds the
datasets locked that THIS process is trying to lock...
