I think the ID should be SYMMETRIX, as from our configuration  Do not
believe that HPDARRAY will function properly.

 And for any array configured onto the hp e3000, the id HPDARRAY can also
be
used in SYSGEN.
Of course support is thru EMC with very specific support coming from HP
and
of course performance
is dictated by your application's I/O characteristics and EMC's
configuration specifics. You might want
to read an old white paper I did back in 1997.
