 Hello all again,
We have a 2563 working happily on a serial link to a DTC (N Series, 7.5.1),
no problems. We found a spare 2564...trying to get it working. copied the
set up of the 2563, profile etc.
Small amounts of data are fine, but if I send, eg LISTF @.PUB.SYS to it,
about 2/3 of the way down the second page, data gets lost, layout goes out
of wack, unusable. The curious thing is that I needed a 2<->3 pin turnover
to get it working at all, where the 2563 doesn't have one of these. These
printers are connected via CAT 5 net work cabling, and into a hood with a
RJ45 socket one end, DB25 male other end. I have a 2563 manual, but nowhere
does it tell me how to change speed, parity, protocol etc. It tells me how
to change print pitch, page feed etc, but nothing on data com config.
Anybody can point me at where to look please? The 2564 config parameter
numbers are different from 2563 also. The parms listed as important
(20=31,22=51) have the same values in both printers.

THANKS,

 John Pitman
