Hi John,
    um... this just goes to show the amount of ingenuity (sp) that is
available when one has to make do... while waiting for proper parts :)
The Military does tend to see alot of this ... after all... our supply and
logistics system is very convoluted :)

    And yes... under the "Don't try this at home kiddie's Heading":
Portable computers can be run using lots of BA3030's* :)
