The 960 was introduced a long, long time ago, but I believe that
it was first supported in Release 2.0 or 2.1. It should work on
2.2. But, let me be the first to invite you up to the 90s -- 2.2
is not longer supported -- if you have problems, you won't be able
to get help. My recommendation is to go through the following
migration steps:
o 935 on 2.2 (now)
o Update 935 to 4.0 (necessary because we don't support a
direct update from 2.2 to 5.0)
o Update 935 to 5.0
o Replace 935 with 960.
And, yes, that is a good number of steps. Yes, that will take some
time. But, you will be supported along the way. If you put your 2.2
on your 960 and you have problems, you won't have any options. Be
aware that your 935 has a different I/O structure and different
timing than a 960, and it is very possible that you will uncover
problems when you move to the 960. At least this way, you can plan
your update steps.
