QUICK redefines the function keys.
Thus when HI-LI runs, the f-key defs are not as expected.
btw is hi-li company still around?

Sigh,

HI-LI means HIgh Level Intrinsics and is an attempt by HP to provide
logically related VPLUS intrinsics in a new bundled intrinsic to facilitate
easier use of VPLUS. It uses the same formfiles as standard VPLUS and works
the same. It probably isn't used much because most programmers have already
done the same thing by making COPYLIB or subprogram calls that already have
the bundling of VPLUS intrinsics done. In fact the HI-LI intrinsics have
never been migrated to native mode, unlike standard VPLUS intrinsics.

With regards to your second question, perhaps you're thinking of Miller HI
LIfe, "The Champagne of bottled beers" :) They're still around, but are
being sold to a South African brewery.
