Joe,

Telamon has a 'rexec' and 'remsh' utility(It is actualy the same program
you just have to make a copy with the other name to get both) and is
available free from their ftp site. Give them a try at:

                        http://www.telamon.com/

Howdy,

Does anyone know of a way from either the posix shell or MPE command
line to execute a remote shell on a user system.

We have a need for this. We plan on sending a file down via ftp to a
Unix system, remote execute a program that will process the file, then
ftp the results back up.

We need to do this because the program doing the processing is a third
party supplied program that does not run on MPE.

Thank in advance,
