Howdy all,

Just a FYI: I recommend GR patches for SNMP. A significant SR was fixed concerning heavy CPU utilization by SNMP (in some cases demonstrated as a system hang):

SR: 8606-206689
SNMP VolumeTable lookup ties up CPU

Fixed in:
7.5 base (current GR is: SNMHD30 for C.75.00)
  7.0 SNMGDD4 (current GR is: SNMGDT5 for C.70.00)
  6.5 SNMGDD1 (current GR is: SNMHD28 for C.65.00)
  6.0: SNMGDF1 (current GR is: SNMGDF1 for C.60.00)

----------

note: The definition of the MPE SNMP MIB can be found at:
  : print mpeixmib.net.sys;page=0

Regards,
  James Hofmeister
