I'm not saying this is a job opening but:

Someone ought to try knocking on the door of "Infresco Corp" in Sarasota,
FL. They make a software product called "Opal" which HASN'T been ported to
MPE/iX (Posix) yet. It is written in C++ and is supposed to be the next
"hot" item as a front end to dissimilar applications on different
platforms. It works on VTxx, 3270, or WINHLLAPI compliant emulators using
an OBDC driver. It sets up WEB page-workable applications that interface
directly with the host.

I'm not saying this company is looking for someone to do so, but perhaps
some enterprising programmer can SELL them the idea of an MPE/iX port.
Maybe that someone can write the interface that would make it work using
HP700/9x emulators, or get it to work with Allbase, KSAM, TurboIMAGE, or
just plain flat files on the HP3K.

(It might even save the HP3K platform!)
