We have a VB program that hangs on a specific directory and waits for any
spoolfiles to come in. Once there is a spoolfile in the directory it opens
the file and converts it to PDF. HP3000 is responsible sending the
Spoolfiles to PC using FTP.
Our problem is that once the FTP starts the transfer (and if the file is
large file and it takes let's say 5 minutes to transfer it), the file is
created on PC right away.
Is there a way to check to see if this file is available from VB?
Yeh, I can get the filesize every minute and compare and see if it is done or
not, but is there any correct way of doing this?

I would like to thank you in advance for all your help!
Greg
