Okay, so I followed all the helpfule hints here and got network printing
working just fine on the LAN (thanks, everyone). Now I'm here at one of
our remote sites trying to get a LJ4050N networked off the WAN. Here is
what I see on the console when I try to print to the networked printer:
11:41/99/Output spooler, LDEV #307: SNMP error SNMP_ResponseTimeout
reported
while retrieving printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9656
11:41/99/Output spooler, LDEV #307: Cannot communicate with network
printer.
Check network xport config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links started
status,
intermediate network, and printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9662
I have no trouble printing to serially connected printers that are
connected
to the DTC here. Can anyone give me some ideas on what to check and/or
adjust? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
