Ken Paul keeps it going:

> I know that this subject is getting a little long in the tooth

long ??.... it's growing tusks any elephant would be proud
of... and confess I've been and continue to be a contributor...

> I have no problem with losing the r/b and the max extents

me neither.

[....SNIP detailed examples....]

>These numbers can have a great impact on performance..

And seeing bad numbers in LISTF,11 would be a good and
worthwhile reminder that it is time to DeFrag. Looking at
one or two files with LISTF,3 is tolerable; looking at 100
doesn't fly.... but you could scan a LISTF,11 output of 100
files for a large extent number quickly and easily...

More than nice: *Real* nice.

> Does anyone else feel that this information should be included

YES !!
