Come on, no one has claimed that they are wrong, only that they presume too
much when they claim to represent the membership's views. They have no more
idea of the membership's opinions than their detractors do. The board
members are empowered to vote the association's shares any way they want to.
As members of a free society they are free to express any opinions they
wish. When they express an opinion and claim to represent the membership in
expressing that opinion, they are lying. Any way you cut it, a lie is not
good. The press release is the problem, not the vote, in my opinion. Yes,
the board members are our elected representatives. As such, their duty is
to represent us, not to dictate opinion to us.

By the way, I searched the Interex website for that survey you mentioned.
Couldn't find it. Do you have a URL? I stand ready and eager to be
corrected.
