It seems that not all MPE commands respect the > and < redirectors. For
example the :TELL and :TELLOP commands don't. Instead, they treat these
symbols as part of the message. Pity - a ":TELLOP <myfile" could be useful
(if a little cruel :^) should it work, whereas ":TELLOP >myfile" seems
illogical.
Is there a list somewhere of commands that don't respect the redirectors?
While I'm at it, I might as well ask if there is a list somewhere of
commands that produce no output *IF SUCCESSFUL*. The ":PURGE" and
":CONTINUE" commands are examples?
I don't know what category commands such as ":NETCONTROL START..." fall in,
as they produce output, but do not impede the CI from prompting and
accepting new input. Something to test, I suppose.
Regards.
