Good afternoon <CDT> to the -L...

After 4+ weeks pursuing what looked to be a good opportunity here in
Chicago, I've just learned that it's <insert favorite adult adjective here>
fallen thru. So I post again, e-hat in hand...

Over 18 years in IT programming, administering systems, staff and projects,
documenting all manner of applications, significant 'break/fix' experience.
COBOL, Cognos Powerhouse, HP3000 software and utilities and most 3rd party
utility packages. I've worked on VAX, RS/6000 some UNIX and a bit of IBM
big iron. Excellent communications skills, able to get up to speed quickly
on projects.

Any assistance in this arena would be, again, most appreciated......I'm
unsure as to whether this job market sucks enough.....I'd like to stay
within shouting distance of Chicago <drive home on the wknd, if necessary>
but times are tough.

Thanks to all!
