Hi Jeff!

The problem is you need to also state the requested dates as part of the
$DATE function.  Been there, been burned, now I know how to make it work.

        IF $STDDATE(DATE-INV-ACT) >= $DATE(1999/04/01) AND &
                 $STDDATE(DATE-INV-ACT) <= $DATE(2000/04/01)
