For juxtaposition you might also want to research
similar slogans and posters used in USSR in the 1920s 
for Lenin's Electrification of Russia (GOELRO Plan).  
The old Soviets committed a lot of resources to such 
artwork when they wanted to get the people to do 
things or agree with what they did (short of coercion.)
