Thanx everyone for all the great solutions.  I chose to use:

!FILE O=bksp!hpmonth!hpdate.stdlist,NEW;SAVE;REC=-132,,F,ASCII;cctl
!PRINT !hpspoolid.OUT.HPSPOOL;OUT=*O

This worked exactly as desired.
